What is included

  • An instruction sheet with a controlled comparison workflow and decision boundaries
  • A five-quote comparison sheet for specifications, quantity, packaging, Incoterms, cost scope, timing, payment terms, exceptions, and follow-up actions
  • Formula-driven information completeness and comparison status fields

How to use the workbook

  1. Send the same RFQ and specification revision to every supplier.
  2. Enter one quotation per row and preserve the original quotation unit and currency.
  3. Use buyer-entered net quantity and total comparable cost only when the source data is known; the workbook does not assume prices, freight, taxes, fees, exchange rates, or quantity conversions.
  4. Record every missing field, qualification, and change in the clarification log before shortlisting.
  5. Keep the source quotation and dated reply for each decision.

Important boundaries

This workbook is a blank evaluation aid. It contains no supplier recommendation, supplier data, price quote, product image, or certification file. YLight does not publish certification files on the website. Any applicable order-specific files are handled only after an order is formally confirmed. If buyer policy requires pre-order document review, disclose that timing requirement in the RFQ before quotation so the conflict can be identified; this does not promise earlier provision.

Downloading or using the workbook does not create an order, reserve capacity, confirm availability, form a binding quotation, or request payment. Buyers should independently verify the counterparty, specifications, commercial terms, transport plan, inspection method, documents, payment controls, and contract.
